Foundation Two Day Botulinum Toxins and Dermal Fillers Course
This intensive two day course commences with delegates completing key pre-course material that ensures they are fully prepared for a predominantly practical two days of training. Our pre-course material covers important aspects of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and safety relevant to aesthetic procedures and would require an average of 20 hours of revision.
The two days will be predominantly practical with interactive lectures given by our team of trainers to supplement the pre-course material and ensure delegates are ready to undertake each of the practice sessions.
Continual feedback is given to delegates throughout the duration of the course as we pride ourselves in ensuring all delegates are successful in receiving a certificate of competence.
Aims:
- This course provides delegates with the relevant knowledge and skills to practice the following procedures independently:
•The use of Botulinum Toxin to treat glabellar, frontalis and crow’s feet
•The use of Botulinum Toxin to treat bunny lines
- The use of Dermal Fillers to treat nasolabial folds, marionette lines, oral commissures, vermillion border, lip body and basic cheek augmentation
- The course provides delegates with insight on how to avoid complications in aesthetic medicine and how to deal with them should they happen.
- The course provides delegates with essential information on how to start a business in aesthetic medicine.
- This course is accredited by the Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh for CPD.
- This course contains a theoretical component consisting of pre-course study material and face to face lectures delivered by our experienced trainers during the two days of the course. The theoretical component is assessed via an MCQ and short answer essay exam on day two of the course.
- This course provides extensive practical experience in the field of aesthetic medicine. A sample logbook is attached below for reference.

•The use of Botulinum Toxin in lower Face lifting.
•The use of Botulinum Toxin in hyperhidrosis.
•The use of Botulinum Toxin treatment of Migraine.
•The use of Botulinum Toxin in neck lifting and band removal.
•The use of Botulinum Toxin in TMJ dysfunction and masseteric hypertrophy.
• The use of Dermal Fillers for Cheek Augmentation.
•The use of Dermal Fillers for Facial Sculpting.
•The use of Dermal Fillers in Chin augmentation.
•The use of Dermal Fillers in non-surgical rhinoplasty.
• The use of Dermal Fillers with Cannulas.
•The use of Dermal Fillers and botulinum toxin in periorbital area.
- The use of Dermal Fillers and botulinum toxin in the perioral area.

-Understanding anatomy relevant to advanced aesthetic treatments
-To discuss management of complications in advanced aesthetic medicine
-Training on effective delivery of the practical and procedural aspects of advanced aesthetic medicine
– Delegates to have full understanding on how to expand the treatment offerings in their practice.
– Recognising the limitations of use of non-surgical procedures in treatment of the ageing face and knowing when to refer for surgery.
PDO Threads Implantation course
Aim:
- This course provides delegates with the relevant knowledge and skills to practice the following procedures independently:
•The use mono and screw type PDO threads
•The use of 2D, 4D, and Anchor PDO threads in the midface
- The use of 2D, 4D, and Anchor PDO threads in the lower face
•The use of 2D, 4D, and Anchor PDO threads in the neck
•The use of lipolysis in submental area.
- The course provides delegates with insight on how to avoid complications in PDO thread implantation and how to deal with them should they happen.
- This course contains a theoretical component consisting of face to face lectures delivered by our experienced trainers during the course. The theoretical component is assessed via an MCQ and short answer essay exam on the course.
- This course provides extensive practical experience in the field of PDO thread implantation. A sample logbook is attached below for reference.
